Not all overhead fans for recreational vehicles, motor homes are created equal. There are some fans, which do not cost very much and work okay. Some fans are guaranteed for life and they open up the vent automatically and have variable speeds, with manual control options also.
Others stick up while you drive and hurt the aerodynamic efficiency of your vehicle. Even others have an up and down setting and consider themselves and all in onefan. Most claim that they can prevent the rain from coming and while they stillwork even if you are driving. One recreational vehicle overhead fan that we liked was from Maxsair Vent Corp. and we liked the Maxx-Fan Model. It seemed to do all the others did and was fairly priced. You see, the first vent-fan we had was guaranteed for life but after we got on our third unit in a two-year period and it appeared to me than I did not want something that was guaranteed if was going to keep breaking.
So I switched and have had trouble-free service with the new Maxx-Fan unit ever sense. Overhead fans in recreational vehicles are very important because of some of the locations in the United States, which have so much humidity. Sometimes the overhead fans, which come as standard manufacturer’s equipment are not very good and it makes sense to upgrade if you are serious about your recreational vehicle. Please consider all this in 2006.
